Trading holiday on 24 Apr | Change of FNO Expiry from 24 Apr to 23 Apr

Trading holiday is declared by National Stock Exchange of India on 24 Apr 2014.  This holiday for trading on last thursday of April is also the expiry date of Futures and Options contracts expiry.  As per the rules and regulations in vogue, if a trading holiday is scheduled in advance, all the FNO expiry will happen one day prior to the actual expiry date. For the month of April 2014, expiry of futures and options (Derivatives) contracts will be on 23 Apr 2013 (Wednesday), in the place of 24 Apr (Thursday).

At the time of writing this, there were no circular available for trading holiday for the same on BSE, MCX and NCDEX.  Anyhow it is expected that similar circulars will be published by BSE, MCX and NCDEX in coming days.
